SDS Destroyers, after the first run of *DS are widely thought of as the greatest Destroyers of all time!
This was the first Speed 12 driver and is one of the primary discs used by many professional disc golfers. For less experienced players, the Destroyer excels for forehand throws. The Destroyer is overstable, but has a degree of turn to help provide incredible glide and distance. Intermediate players will get more distance on forehand throws with the Destroyer than just about any other disc. The Innova Destroyer is a very thin (1.4cm) disc, and has the perfect sized rim (2.2cm) for high speeds, without being uncomfortably thick. As such a popular driver, the Destroyer comes available in all the major plastics.
Star plastic by Innova is a premium blend known for its ideal combination of grip, durability, and performance. It offers a slightly tacky feel for confident grip in all weather conditions and is more flexible than Champion plastic while maintaining excellent wear resistance. Star plastic tends to have flight characteristics similar to Champion, but with a touch more glide and slightly less overstability. It's a favorite among players who want the reliability of premium plastic with enhanced grip and comfort, making it one of Innova’s most widely used blends across all disc types.
