The Discmania PD will forever be an iconic disc for us. When first released it quickly made waves and there are some very memorable runs throughout the years. The 2020 Signature Series begins with the Avery Jenkins Color Glow C-Line PD Dark Maul II. This run of PD not only stands out as one of the great PDs, it is even better than the first edition of the Dark Maul.
FLIGHT AND FEEL OF THE DARK MAUL II
When it comes to the PD, disc golfers are looking for a driver that can hold up to power and provide a strong fade at the end of the flight. That flight is exactly what you can expect from the Dark Maul II.
The Dark Maul II came out much flatter than the initial run, but still has a similar feel to it. If you’ve been looking for those flat PDs, the Dark Maul II will scratch that itch.
When thrown at full power, the Dark Maul II will be very torque resistant. You can expect little to no turn with this disc. As the flight continues, you’ll get a very punchy fade that really snaps hard on you. Don’t sleep on the Dark Maul II. Power it up and let it fly. It has all the bite to battle through the flight.
For those who love the first Dark Maul, these will be a little more overstable with a very similar feel.
Let's all stop playing around and start throwing some Power Drivers, and why not start with the Discmania PD. This disc is not for the light-hearted as it's beefy and won't slow down for a while. It's meant for when the wind is blowing hard, as the glide is not great, but can cut the wind with Power. The PD will fly straight as an arrow with a moderate fade at the end of the flight.
