10 years ago, today, something special took place. The PDGA approved the first Kastaplast disc, and it marked the beginning of a journey for a new design company dedicated to disc sport. The name of the disc – RASK, is the Swedish word for brisk or fast, but it is also a historic surname for Swedish soldiers. A new name was given to recruits, it was usually a positive adjective or something related to the military. A four letter word has then followed on all released discs.    

The Kastaplast K1 Rask is a fast and overstable distance driver with a new take on aerodynamics. Rask is a concept disc based on Kastaplast’s invention for drag reduction. It’s the most streamlined and overstable disc to date (2016).
