6/4/0/2 *From the Speedy Vault! Vintage and iconic! The "Possessed by Plastic Obsessed with Chains" brand is from the Chain Zombies of the Auburn (California) Disc Golf Club. This DX Gazelle is from 1995-1998 after the Gazelle was retooled and the beaded rim was added before the 1998 reduction in the bead. Also the writing for the weight matches the 1995 Gazelle from the Flying Disc Museum.
NOTE: Old DX plastic has some surface scuffs and scrapes, makes them unique. And just like you, this will never be made again.
The Gazelle is great overall disc for players of all skill levels because of its versatility and control. It is a dependable driver that has long straight flight with a predictable fade at the end. The Gazelle works well in headwind conditions for both long and medium range shots. It has a narrow rim that is easy for smaller hands to grip.
DX plastic by Innova is their most affordable and widely used base plastic, offering excellent grip and feel straight out of the box. While it’s less durable than premium blends, DX plastic allows discs to beat in quickly, giving players the ability to cycle discs for different flight characteristics. It's ideal for players who want a tacky, responsive grip and for experimenting with new molds without a premium price tag. Many putters and midranges are favored in DX for the superior touch it provides.
