12/6/-1/2 Paul McBeth takes on a terrifying new form in the Night of the McBeast Ares, featuring original artwork by Brian Allen.
What began as the highly talked-about Zeus 2.0, has officially evolved into Ares, a distance driver built for players who wanted more torque resistance from a Zeus without losing the feel and shot shaping capabilities. Early test flight runs quickly became a coveted release among both pros and everyday players. This disc is celebrated for the added stability, powerful end flight finish, and ability to push forward without drifting from its line. Now, that momentum becomes official.
The Ares keeps the familiar hand feel and high-speed profile players loved in the Zeus, but brings a more overstable, torque-resistant flight built for bigger arms, tough conditions, and max distance shots. This is the kind of disc players reach for when they want to throw aggressively without sacrificing reliability. Whether launched on a flex line or driven flat with power, the Ares is built to push forward and finish with authority. While Zeus sparked the question, Ares answers it.
Colorshift Z Swirl plastic from Discraft combines the durability of premium Z plastic with eye-catching color-shifting effects and unique swirling patterns.
