FLIGHT OF THE DARK MAUL

There is something special about the flight of a PD when it is perfectly dialed in. You get that perfect combination of speed, glide, high speed stability, and a dependable fade. It is a disc that changed the sport.

Out of the box, the the Dark Maul will show a great stability at high speeds and resist turns while fighting headwinds. During our initial tests, we were facing 10-15 mph headwinds and the Dark Maul fought back and held a laser straight line on every throw.

As the flight started to end, the forward-penetrating glide helped things remain aloft to get you a little extra distance as the fade kicked in. The Dark Maul’s fade is exactly what you would expect to see from a PD. Strong and dependable, without being too overstable.

 The Dark Maul is a low-profile, nearly flat, PD. It makes it very easy to grip backhand or forehand. The Color Glow C-Line material provides great grip as well. This combination gives you one of the easiest throwing PDs we’ve seen.
