Glow Mantra - Ali Smith Tour Series

Thought Space Athletics' first fairway driver, The Mantra, was designed for control. The average player will find it easy to shape lines with and get effortless distance. However, more advanced players will find the Mantra to be an excellent hyzer flip disc or perfect for rollers.

Behind the design:

Being the first disc design we worked on with Ali, we wanted to incorporate elements of who she is both as an athlete and a person. Ali shared with us that she is a HUGE Coheed and Cambria fan, who often uses the motif of a dragonfly as well as their logo, "The Keywork."

The dragonfly represents change, adaptability, and transformation—all qualities new touring professionals develop as they gain experience.

We included geometric shapes, such as circles and triangles, not only as a nod to "The Keywork" but also as an Easter egg reflecting Ali's role as a math teacher, symbolized by her new logo, which is inspired by a compass.
