4/5/-2/1      Speedy's vault has a fantastic group of 1997 Pro Worlds special releases! This 1997 Elite Pro Comet is stamped with a view of Hole 4 from the Winthrop course at Rock Hill, SC. This hole has evolved over the years and now is the iconic Hole 5 at USDGC.

NOTE: Old Elite plastic has some surface scuffs and scrapes, makes them unique. And just like you, this will never be made again.

The Discraft Comet is a very popular straight-flying, slightly understable midrange disc. This is a versatile disc that can handle all kinds of shots and conditions. Discraft gives the Comet a stability rating of 0. The Comet is available in the highly durable, premium ESP and Z plastics.

Before Z plastic, even before X plastic, there was a Discraft blend called "Elite Pro," and the disc that debuted with its release was the XL driver. In 1998, Colorado's Scott Stokely broke his own world record and threw this disc 693 feet. Elite Pro is chalky like what you can find with some Gateway S-line discs but has the same durability as Innova Pro.
