9/5/0/2 *Two-time World Champ Eveliina Salonen uses her Thunderbirds often because they’re easy to control. Throw her USDGC Salonen Wings edition to get a better handle on your home course.
Eveliina Loves Her Thunderbirds: She’s been throwing Thunderbirds since she joined Innova in 2017 and currently has three in her bag. She pulls them out often, especially for tight lines in wooded courses. An older Merlot colored Thunderbird is her favorite disc in her bag.
The Innova Thunderbird is said to be predictable in the wind, but not so overstable that its hard to keep straight. If you’re looking for a consistent driving disc just faster than the TeeBird3, the Thunderbird is the next one to try out. This likely won’t be the fastest or furthest flying driver in your bag, but when it comes to a work horse driver with the right blend of speed and reliability, the Thunderbird excels. Innova says this of the Thunderbird: “The Thunderbird comes from strong bloodlines. The stability of a TeeBird with the speed of a Valkyrie; it could be best described as a seasoned Firebird, but with less fade. The Thunderbird is still predictable in the wind and a great choice for your new favorite long-range placement driver.
Innova Champion plastic is a transparent ultra durable hi-tech plastic that provides outstanding performance and long life. Discs in Champion Line plastic maintain their flight characteristics 5X longer than do DX discs.
